On Saturday i had the privilege of being Leanne and Garys wedding photographer at the amazing Oulton Hall in Leeds West Yorkshire. What an amazing day it was!

I met the bridal party on the morning of the wedding day. The bridal party had chosen to get ready at Oulton Hall in West Yorkshire, this was also the same location as the groom. By having everything all in one place it made it really easy to capture the wedding day preparations from both the bride and grooms perspective. Both the bride and groom were in good spirits ahead of their wedding day and I was able to capture some relaxed images before the ceremony.

The ceremony took place at Oulton Hall with an amazing floral arrangement at the top of the ceremony room. The day continued with a relaxed group pictures before me Leanne and Garry were able to explore the outstanding Oulton Hall for the couple wedding pictures.

Oulton Hall is a truly amazing wedding day venue situated on the outskirts of Leeds in west Yorkshire. Oulton Hall was originally a “modest eighteenth-century house” owned by the Blayds family. Oulton hall has been used for many thing before becoming the West Yorkshire wedding venue we see today, it was once a hospital and a convalescent home for soldiers. In 1991 Oulton hall was sold De were Hotels who spent £20 million to turn Oulton Hall into the Leeds wedding venue we see today. Oulton Hall is currently set in an estate of 300 acres, which includes gardens and a 27 hole gold course and spa.

Oulton Hall is situated near Rothwell, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Hall its self creates a magnificent backdrop, any Oulton Hall Wedding Photographer would be spoilt for choice for photography locations. You can be assured of stunning wedding pictures no matter the weather or season. The magnificent 18th century mansion will transport you into a world of luxury, its a perfect wedding day venue. As you arrive at Oulton Hall you will be met with a sweeping driveway that meanders through the large landscaped gardens before you arrive at the 18th century mansion. The Hall has its own onside hotel which is perfect for not only for the Bride and Groom to stay over the night before their wedding day but also any guest who want to stay before or after the wedding day. The hotel also offers a Spa and 27 hole golf course which you can take advantage of before your wedding day to truly help you relax.

Oulton Hall has so many places for wedding photography. Both inside and out any West Yorkshire wedding photographer would be spoilt for choice.

The day continued with the traditional wedding day speeches before a wedding day breakfast. The rest of the day was filled with fun and joy from Leanne and Garys guest who has traveled to share in their wedding day. The evening finished with the traditional cutting of the wedding cake and the couples first dance as husband and wife. We were event able to take one last picture in the evening using Oulton Hall as the backdrop we were able to use sparklers to make a final wedding day picture.
