On Monday I had the pleasure to attend the wedding of Amy and Chris at the stunning Hazel Gap Barn.
I met Amy and the rest of the bridal party at the brides house for bridal preparations. The mood was relaxed and the bridal party was in good spirits as they made their preparations for the day ahead at Hazel Gap Barn. As I made my way to the wedding day venue I was greeted my the groom Chris and his groomsmen. The ceremony was a wonderful one with readings from guests a couple of tears but plenty of love to go around.
After the wedding ceremony the couple went for a drive in the vintage wedding car before returning to Hazel Gap Barn for the formal wedding photographs. The tail end of storm Denis was still passing through so we opted to do the wedding day group formal pictures inside the stunning barn. After the group formal images, Amy and Chris braved the cold and wind and we headed outside to explore the groups of Hazel Gap Barn. We were able to get some amazing wedding day pictures which I am sure Amy and Chris will treasure for years to come.
The wedding day continued with the wedding day breakfast before the speeches. I was able to capture some amazing candid images through out the speeches and in to the evening. I think candid moments are so important, its always nice to look back on your wedding day and see guest enjoying themselves and not just the “staged” images from the day. Amy and Chris finished the night off with their first dance as a married couple before partying the night away.

Bridal prep took place at the brides home. I love being able to start the day at the home it helps make things so personal.
Hazel Gap Barn looked amazing, ready and waiting for the guest to arrive.
As it was raining on the wedding day we took all of the group shots inside. Hazel Gap Barn were very accommodating giving us planting of space for the formal group shots.
The rain stoped in the afternoon and gave us an opportunity to explore the group and get some stunning wedding day images.
