This weekend I Had the pleasure to be the Wedding Photographer for the wonderful Sophie and Chris. They Chose Mount Pleasant Hotel Doncaster for their wedding day. What a stunning venue the Mount Pleasant Hotel is, With beautifully stocked gardens, tranquil courtyards, a cascading fountain and a bridge over the stream. The venue is perfect for your wedding day, Sophie and Chris had the weather on their side and were able to have there ceremony out side in the sun which was a real treat. The Mount Pleasant Hotel Doncaster is a real treat for any Doncaster Wedding Photographer offering so many locations for the couple photographs.
I will let Sophie talk about how they both met,
“We met around 11 years ago through mutual friends, but only in a relationship since 2016. We had both drifted apart for a couple of years and got on with our own lives then met back up at a local music festival in July 2016.
We love to travel and visit new places, as well as outdoor activities. Our favourite activity together is climbing mountains. We will travel to the other end of the country for a day trip if we want to visit somewhere and don’t have the time to go for longer.
Although we love the luxury of 5* hotels and nice clothing etc, we also like to throw the tent in the car and end up anywhere our mood takes us. We also have a love for good food, and like to eat out and try new places.
Chris’s favourite moment of us is our tour of North Wales which included the Isle of Anglesey, Bangor, the Worlds longest zip wire and climbing mount Snowdon. (The hard way!)
When we got engaged, we were on one of our trips away. We’d taken the tent in the boot to France and Belgium where we were travelling to different places. I (Sophie) wanted to visit the Dunkirk museums. We also visited Bruges, the west coast of France, Honlfeur (a medieval village in France), Pegasus Bridge and Paris. Whilst in Paris, Chris got down on one knee whilst we were overlooking the Eiffel Tower.”
