I’m a West Yorkshire wedding photographer, based around Wakefield, Leeds and Huddersfield, and I shoot weddings all over the UK. If you’re planning a big creative day or something a bit more chilled, you’re probably in the right place. I photograph weddings in a natural, documentary way. No awkward posing. No forcing moments that don’t feel like you. I’m there to tell the story as it unfolds. The quiet bits, the chaos, the laughs, the tiny details you didn’t even notice at the time. The stuff that actually matters when you look back.

I’m not there to run your day or turn it into a photoshoot. I’ll blend in, keep things easy, and let you actually enjoy yourselves. Most of the time you won’t even notice I’m there. Until later, when you see the photos and think, oh yeah… that moment.
I don’t do stiff posing or fake smiles. If something feels awkward, we won’t do it. If something feels like you, we’ll lean into it. A bit of gentle guidance when you need it, space when you don’t. That balance matters, I think.
My couples usually tell me they felt relaxed, like I was just part of the day. Someone calm in the background, quietly paying attention. That’s the aim. Honest photos, real energy, and a story that looks the way it felt.

As a documentary wedding photographer based near Leeds in West Yorkshire, I would describe my style as a mix of natural documentary photography and stunning portraits. I consider myself primarily as a documentary wedding photographer, but also like to capture some remarkable portraits between the happy couple. My aim is to blend into the wedding day without disturbing or staging it, simply capturing what happens and allowing the couple is enjoying their day.
I honestly think I have found my perfect job as a West Yorkshire Wedding Photographer. I am glad to say I am fortunate to share so many happy occasions.
