After the events of 2020 how amazing it was to be back doing what I love, photographing a wedding at the very picturesque Holmfirth Vineyard, West Yorkshire.  I first met Mathew the groom at the vineyard, he was a little nervous ahead of the ceremony  but was surrounded by his parents and his friends who helped ease his nerves.  Before long it was time for the wedding guest to take their seats inside the ceremony room at the vineyard.  Holly arrived at the ceremony with her bridesmaids and before long it was time for her to walk down the aisle to meet her future husband.  It truly was a wonderful ceremony with both lathter and a couple of tears.

After the ceremony it was time for the group formal images.  We wanted to use one of the best features of Holmfirth Vineyard, the outstanding view across the village of Holmfirth and the West Yorkshire countryside.  For group shot I love to capture the formal images but also the ‘in between’ picture of the group interacting and enjoying the wedding day.  As the wedding formal images finished it was time for the wedding couple picture, I always try not to keep the bride and groom away from the wedding guest for long normally only taking about 15-20 minuets.  Holly and Mathew were amazing and we were able to produce some outstanding couple images which im sure will feature in their wedding album.

The day concluded with the troditional wedding day speeches and wedding breakfast.
