Lincoln Wedding Photographer
Hi, I’m Dave, a relaxed, documentary wedding photographer. Lincoln is my home town, and although I’m now based near Castleford, I still love coming back to photograph weddings here and right across Lincolnshire, with no travel charge at all.
I’ll quietly capture your day as it happens, keep the posed pictures short and give you around 800 edited pictures from a full day, in an online gallery within three weeks.

Lincoln Weddings at a Glance
Photographing a Wedding in Lincolnshire
Lincolnshire weddings have a lovely mix of settings, from grand country houses with formal gardens to relaxed pub weddings with a tipi on the lawn, and plenty of church ceremonies in between. Wherever you’re marrying, I’ll be there early and stay out of the way.

The morning is usually where the story starts. Make-up, buttonholes, a nervous laugh with your bridesmaids. I’ll capture it as it happens, so you can just get ready without me asking you to stop and pose.

After the ceremony, we’ll slip away for about twenty minutes of portraits. Big gardens and open skies are a gift for this, and with the Signature or Complete package we’ll pop back out after sunset for fifteen minutes of twilight pictures.

Then I’ll be there through the speeches and onto the dance floor, catching your first dance and the guests who can’t keep still once the band starts.

Lincolnshire Venues I Know
Stoke Rochford Hall
Stoke Rochford Hall is near Grantham, a Grade I listed house completed in 1845 to designs by William Burn for Christopher Turnor, with gardens laid out by William Andrews Nesfield. You can marry in the Orangery for up to 120 guests or in the Rochford Room, and the formal gardens are wonderful for portraits. Have a look at Chloe & Rob’s wedding there.
Real Lincoln Weddings
A couple of the weddings I’ve photographed back in my home town, both at the Pyewipe on the edge of Lincoln.
Chloe & Wayne

Chloe and Wayne married in church, walking out under a sword arch, before heading to the Pyewipe for a tipi reception.

Gemma & Kerry
Gemma and Kerry’s day at the Pyewipe was full of laughter, and their guests made it easy to tell the story of the day.
