Chloe & Rob | Stoke Rochford Hall Wedding

Chloe and Rob chose to have their wedding day at the very impressive Stoke Rochford Hall.  The hall its self was build back in the Victorian times meaning it is steeped in history.  Situated closed to Grantham in Lincolnshire close to the A1 for easy access but surrounded my country side, Stoke Rockford Hall is a perfect wedding venue.  The ground surrounding the hall are simply stunning along with the inside of the hall its self, making a perfect backdrop for your wedding day not matter the weather.

Bridal Preparations at Stoke Rochford Hall

Chloe chose to get ready at her wedding venue Stoke Rochford Hall along with the rest of the bridal party.  Stoke Rochford Hall has a large room which is perfect for getting ready before your big day.  I started the morning by taking detailed shots of accessories and Chloe’s stunning wedding dress. A long the way I documented the bridal party getting ready for the day ahead.

Once everyone was dressed we had some time to do some portraits.  Chloe also chose to do a reveal to her dad.

Wedding Day Ceremony at Stoke Rochford Hall

Chloe and Rob had chosen to have their ceremony at Stoke Rochford Hall.  What a fantastic location this is.  The ceremony itself takes place in the conservatory of the hall.  The hall had been beautifully decorated and was flooded by natural light, helping to make the location even more stunning.

The guest and Rob made their way to the ceremony room first, and before long it was time to welcome the stunning bride.  Chloe looked amazing as she made her entrance and walked down the aisle to meet her future husband Rob.

The Wedding Reception

As Chloe and Rob exited their wedding ceremony they were greeted by their guests and the most amount of confetti I have ever seen.  More confetti is always a good thing tho.  They then took some time to meet and greet and chat with their guest, which equalled lots of hugging, lots of congratulations and a couple of happy tears.  Before long it was time for the group pictures.  These are always a good opportunity to capture the people that mean the most to you looking their very best.

After the group formal pictures, I took Chloe and Rob away for some pictures of just the two of them.  I kept it relaxed but also helped the new couple get the most out of their wedding portrait session by offering direction.  I think these are such important pictures.  These are your first pictures of you both as a married couple.

Wedding Speeches and Evening Reception.

As the wedding day progressed into the afternoon the guests were called into the Library at Stoke Rochford Hall.  This was the location of the wedding breakfast and speeches.  As the guests eat their wedding breakfast I took a brake, no one liked pictures of themself eating.  Also, I use this time to back up all of the images from the wedding day so far and prepare a same-day slide show.  The slideshow consists of approximately 30 – 40 images from the wedding day so far.  This is a fantastic way for everyone to see the parts of the day they have missed and always goes down well with everyone.

As the wedding guests finished their meal it was time for the formal speeches.  These are always a lot of fun to photograph, the emotions are constantly changing which means there is always a lot of document.

Evening Wedding Reception at Stoke Rochford Hall

The evening wedding reception was held in the amazing conservatory which looks stunning at night.  Along with the first dance I always enjoy documenting the guests evening dancing.  Just before the first dance myself and the couple headed outside for some evening portraits, this is something I really like to do, it gives the couple something really unique to remember their wedding day.
