Why did you pick Sandburn Hall

As soon as we saw the wedding venue we loved it all, we loved how light it is in the main room where we will be eating, we loved the hotel so people could stay over. The outdoor ceremony option is perfect for us as we are hoping to get married outside

Bridal Preparations at Sandburn Hall

Sally and the rest of her bridal party had chose to get ready onsite at Sunburn Hall.  The wedding venue offers some stunning hotel rooms which are perfect for the preparations on the morning.  The girls were in good spirit as they had their hair and make up done and looked forward to the day ahead.  From a photography point of view I normally arrive about 2.5 hours before the start of the ceremony, this gives me plenty of time to capture some of your details, think wedding shoes the dress for example, along with some candid images of the morning.  Bridal preparations are always good fun and start the first chapter in your wedding day.

Groom Prep at Sandburn Hall

Sally and Ryan made it really easy for us, they both had their preparations at the wedding venue.  Different ends of the hotel tho.  We met Ryan and the groomsmen as they finished getting ready.  Ones they were ready for the day we went for a short walk around the grounds of Sandburn Hall for some relaxed pictures before the start of the wedding ceremony.

The Wedding Ceremony

Sally and Ryan chose to hold their wedding ceremony nestled in the wooded area at Sanburn Hall.  What a fantastic location this is for a wedding ceremony.  I am pleased to say it was a beautiful day with the weather staying on side all day meaning Sally and Ryan could have the wedding day they had planned.







The Wedding Reception at Sandburn Hall

The wedding reception continued with drinks, food and lots of hugs.  Sally and Ryan had chosen a number of group formal pictures, after these we went for a short walk around the grounds of the wedding venue for some pictures between the newly married couple.  I normally only take the couple away for about 20 minutes before returning to the main wedding party.  From there the day continues with the traditional wedding breakfast and speeches.













Evening Wedding Celebrations at Sandburn Hall

After the speeches it was time for the evening celebrations.  Starting with the first dance every one then got in the party spirit and what a fantastic evening it was.  The amazing dance floor was only toped by the equal amazing fire works.  What a fantastic way to end your wedding day.
