Todays Wedding venue was The Woodlands Hotel Gildersome, in Leeds, West Yorkshire. The Woodlands Hotel Gildersome is set in a beautiful landscaped grounds on the outskirts of Leeds city centre, with 23 individually designed bedrooms and an award-winning restaurant. Packed with character, The Woodlands Hotel offers a stylish and contemporary wedding day.
The day started when I met Erika, her bridesmaids and the very cheeky Poppy, for bride prep. Erika had decided to get ready at The Woodlands Hotel. This would be their Wedding reception venue later in the day. Bride prep was super relaxed , with Poppy keeping every one in check the girls were ready in plenty of time. I was able to capture some documentary style wedding photography through out the morning. As they were getting ready at The Woodlands Hotel it meant I was also able to get images from the venue and also their Wedding breakfast set up.
Erika and Carl chose to hold their ceremony at St Mary’s Parish church Leeds. This was a beautiful church and a beautiful service. After the service unfortunately the rain had started. The rain would stay with us for the rest of the day. This did not dampen any ones spirits.
Once back at The Woodland Hotel Leeds I was able to capture some relaxed natural Wedding Photography images before moving on to some of the formal group images. The guests then sat down to the wedding breakfast followed by speeches.
In the afternoon me, the couple and an outstanding umbrella holder/groomsman ventured out side, in the rain. for some fun relaxed images of the couple.
The night was finished off by evening entertainment by a wonderful magician before finishing the night with evening music by The rolling keys.
