On Saturday at had the privilege of attending the wedding of Helen & Jonathan, who held their day at Manchester Art Gallery. Im sure they won’t mind me saying this was not a traditional venue but it was absolutely stunning, it was a true privilege to be their Manchester Art Gallery Wedding Photographer. Manchester Art Gallery is a beautiful setting for any wedding or civil ceremony, the art work provides an amazing back drop for any Manchester Art Gallery Wedding Photographer.
I met the bridal party earlier in the day at Helens parents house, to say Helen was excited would be a little bit of an understatement. The bridal part were in good spirits and looking forward to the wedding day ahead. Helen had chosen a stunning wedding dress with a lemon coloured underline, instead of traditional flowers Helen had chosen a floral perl arrangement for her and the bridal party.
I met the groom and his grooms men at Manchester Art Gallery before the wedding ceremony. I was able to capture some informal pictures of the groom and the grooms mens before the start of the wedding ceremony. The ceremony its self was held in the Lowery room at Manchester Art Gallery, this room is exclusively yours during the wedding so you do not need to worry about members of the public. After the wedding ceremony we took some traditional group shots and took advantage of the main entrance stars of Manchester Art Gallery for the large group shot. The rest of the day was filled with lots of fun and friends before the traditional speeches and cake cutting. I was able to steal the bride and groom away from the main wedding party for a short time to take some wedding couple images, using some of their favourite art work and the amazing building. The day concluded with the couples first dance and a couple of final wedding day images out side, where we were able to use the stunning exterior of Manchester Art Gallery.
