Lorna & Daniel | Bagden Hall Hotel

Lorna & Daniel decided to have their wedding day at Bagden Hall Hotel in Denby Dale West Yorkshire.  Bagden Hall Hotel holds a special place in the heart of a wedding photographer like me. This luxurious country house, tucked away amidst the vibrant towns of Huddersfield and Wakefield, offers a picturesque backdrop that’s every photographer’s dream. Set within 40 acres of breathtaking parkland, with sweeping views of West Yorkshire, it’s not just a venue; it’s a canvas for capturing unforgettable moments.

As a wedding photographer, I’ve had the privilege of witnessing love stories unfold in this enchanting setting. Every corner of this exquisite venue exudes character and elegance, making it the perfect sanctuary for couples and their guests.

Whether it’s the historic architecture, the serene parkland, or the splendid interiors, there’s no shortage of inspiration here. The blend of period splendor and contemporary comforts ensures that every photo tells a story of timeless romance and relaxed luxury.

I look forward to each opportunity to capture the magic of weddings at Bagden Hall Hotel, knowing that every image I create here will reflect the unique blend of history, romance, and beauty that this venue offers. It’s a privilege to be part of such unforgettable moments, and Bagden Hall Hotel makes my job as a wedding photographer all the more rewarding.

Bridal Preparations at Bagden Hall Hotel

Lorna decided to get ready at Bagden Hall along with the rest of her bridal party.  When I arrived the girls were in good spirits and enjoying the morning.  I started by photographing the details of the day along with some more candid moments throughout the morning.  The bridal party where relishing both this moment and getting ready for the day ahead. When it comes to wedding photography, I typically allocate a generous 2-hour window for capturing images. This approach ensures a relaxed pace, allowing us to savor every moment and capture all the wonderful memories of your wedding morning.

Groom Preparation

The groom Daniel had chosen to get ready at home before making his way to the wedding venue.  Getting ready at home is a really nice choice, you are surrounded by your home and everything you might need making it really easy if you need anything.  Daniel & Lorna had chosen wedding package 2 which meant they had a second photographer included in their package.  This meant we could cover both bride and groom prep.

Bagden Hall Wedding Ceremony

The couple had chose Bagden Hall Hotel for their wedding ceremony and what a fantastic location it is.  Bagden Hall Hotel promises not just a location but an experience. From its period splendor to the contemporary amenities, every aspect of the venue is designed to ensure a memorable and comfortable stay for the couple and their guests. It’s a place where love, romance, and beauty come together harmoniously, creating an atmosphere that’s perfect for celebrating the union of two souls.

The Wedding Reception at Bagden Hall Hotel

Before we stole Lorna and Daniel away for about 20 minutes to get some lovely shots of the bride and groom exploring the beautiful grounds of Bagden Hall Hotel, we took the group photos they had picked out. After that, we all enjoyed a traditional wedding meal, some heartfelt speeches, cutting the cake, and, of course, the couple’s very first dance. Here’s how the rest of the wedding day played out.

The day was absolutely fantastic! Lorna and Daniel were such warm hosts, and it was a real treat to witness these two amazing people tie the knot. Scroll down to see a bunch of photos from their unforgettable wedding day.
