Natalie & Haider please tell me more about yourself.
We met at university at York and started dating in Natalie’s final year. We then went long distance for a couple of years when Natalie finished her degree and returned to her home town in Kent whilst Haider was in South Yorkshire.
tell me about the proposal.
We got engaged at The Temple of Apollo in Antalya, Turkey in March 2023. It was a beautiful day and a big surprise, with beautiful scenery and a private proposal.
Why Did you choose Aston Hall for your wedding day?
We thought it was a pretty venue and of a nice size for all our friends and family.
How have you personalised your wedding day?
Asian/ English twist to the wedding in regards to the decoration/ theme. We have already done the Asian ceremony, the Nikkah. However, we are having a civil ceremony to make it a legal marriage. We have family travelling from different countries and all the way from Kent; we therefore have an unconventional order to our day to accommodate people being part of our wedding day for as much as possible.

Pre-wedding MEal at Aston Hall.
Natalie and Haider chose to kick off their wedding celebrations with a pre-wedding meal, a thoughtful touch that added a personal and intimate start to their journey as a married couple. This gathering was much more than just a meal—it was an opportunity for both sides of the family to meet, mingle, and truly get to know one another. Laughter and conversation filled the room as relatives exchanged stories, creating an atmosphere of warmth and connection.
It was a joy to witness the blending of two families, each bringing their own traditions and energy to the occasion. Moments like these remind us that weddings are not just about the couple but also about the people who have shaped their lives. This pre-wedding meal set the tone for what would become a heartfelt celebration of unity, love, and togetherness—a perfect beginning to Natalie and Haider’s unforgettable day.

Following the pre-wedding meal, Natalie and Haider opted for a relaxed portrait session with their families and each other. Dressed in their stunning Asian attire, they looked absolutely radiant, embracing the cultural essence of their celebration before changing into their ceremony outfits.
This session was a fantastic opportunity to document their love and the joy shared with their families in a relaxed and informal setting. I focused on creating an atmosphere where they could be themselves, allowing their connection and happiness to shine naturally through the lens. Capturing these moments not only highlighted the elegance of their traditional attire but also the genuine bond between Natalie and Haider—a beautiful prelude to the day ahead.

The thoughtful blend of Asian and English elements in the décor created the perfect backdrop for their special day, highlighting both the elegance of the venue and the significance of the couple’s heritage.
As the ceremony began, Natalie walked down the aisle with her dad by her side, looking radiant in her traditional dress. The room fell quiet as she reached the end of the aisle and was met by Haider, who couldn’t hide his joy. Surrounded by their closest family and friends, the couple exchanged heartfelt vows, promising to stand by each other for the rest of their lives. After their pre-wedding meal, Natalie and Haider changed into more Western-inspired attire before the ceremony. This gave us a fantastic opportunity for some couple portraits, capturing the elegance and style of their new outfits.
