Kirsty & John, How did you meet?
We both met through work and we both came from families of scrap metal industry. We got engaged on Christmas day 2020, we had talked about getting married but the reality on John on one knee was unexpected. John loves Kirsty’s kind hearted nature, her ability to see the good in people and strong family values and most importantly her Yorkshire Puddings! Kirsty Loves johns sense of humor strong work ethic also his kind nature and John is always there to support me and us as a family.
What Made You Choose 315 Bar and Restaurant for your wedding day?
we choose 315 as its where we went for our first proper date we visit often for the good food . we wanted people to have a choice menu and 315 can provide that
Bridal Preparations
Kirsty chose to begin her special day in the comfort of her home, surrounded by her bridal party and parents. The atmosphere was lively and filled with excitement as everyone prepared for the wedding ahead. I started the morning by photographing some of Kirsty’s personal details, including her stunning wedding dress and the beautiful floral arrangements. My approach to bridal prep is very candid, allowing the morning to unfold naturally while capturing those spontaneous moments. Of course, there are times when a little direction is helpful, and Kirsty’s idea of a bridal party reveal was one of those perfect moments. Afterwards, we gathered for a few quick family portraits in the garden before making our way to 315 for the wedding celebrations.
The Wedding Ceremony at 315 Bar and Restaurant
As the excitement of the morning transitioned into the anticipation of the ceremony, Kirsty and her bridal party made their way to 315 Bar & Restaurant. With guests seated and the ceremony about to begin, John stood at the end of the aisle, a mix of nervous energy and excitement clear on his face, eagerly awaiting his bride.

Following the beautiful ceremony, Kirsty and John led their guests outside into the lovely grounds of 315 Bar & Restaurant. This is always one of my favourite moments of the day – when the newlyweds are surrounded by their closest friends and family, all eager to offer heartfelt congratulations. It’s such a natural time for candid moments, as hugs, laughter, and well-wishes fill the air. These unscripted interactions are priceless, and they make for some of the most heartwarming photographs of the day.
Kirsty and John had chosen a few specific group shots to commemorate the occasion with their close family and friends. We began with a full group photograph, which I was thrilled to capture using my drone. The wedding Breakfast
As the afternoon transitioned into evening, the guests were invited into the beautifully set dining area for the wedding breakfast. 315 Bar & Restaurant is renowned for its exquisite cuisine, and the couple had chosen a delicious menu that perfectly reflected their taste. The atmosphere was warm and lively as everyone gathered to enjoy the meal, with the room filled with the clinking of glasses and the buzz of happy conversation.
Following the meal, it was time for the speeches – always a highlight of the day.
