How did you both meet?
We met through work, We both worked in the operating theatre at pontefract hospital.
We have been together for 10 years and I have always kept saying let’s get Married, but when Brian asked me last August while we were in Cyprus sat on some rocks beside the waves I was so shocked I thought he was joking! He said if you don’t say yes soon I will retract the offer! By the time we had walked back to the hotel I had all the wedding plans in my head.

What made you choose bagden Hall?
The views, The ducks!
Brian loves birdwatching.

Bride Preperation at Bagden Hall Hotel
The morning started at the Bagden Hall bridal suit, Joanne and the rest of her girls were busy getting ready for the wedding day head. Everyone was in good spirits. When I arrived I started by capturing some details, the flowers, the shoes and anything that was important to Joanne. For the rest of the bridal preparations and remaining very candid, capturing the morning as it happens. Before long it was time for Joanne to get in her dress and head downstairs to meet her groom.

The Ceremoney at BAgden Hall
Joanne and Brian had chosen to hold their ceremony at Bagden Hall. The ceremony room looked perfect. Ready for the wedding day ahead.

The wedding ceremony between Joanne and Brian was perfect. Joanne was walked down the isle by her very proud dad to meet her groom Brian. Throughout the ceremony itself, I am always very aware that I get the best seat in the house to watch the ceremony.

Wedding Reception at Bagden Hall
It was hugs all around after the wonderful wedding ceremony. Joanne and Brian were able to relax as they met their guests and sipped on champagne in the grounds of Bagden Hall. Both the bride and groom and of course their wedding guest enjoyed the confetti tunnel. (always a good excuse to throw things at the bride and groom). Confetti always makes fantastic pictures and is such a good way to get everyone involved in the wedding day celebrations.

Formal Group Pictures
For the formal group pictures, the bride and groom had chosen a couple of pictures of their nearest and dearest family and friends. I think these pictures are important to have but I also don’t want them to take forever. I try and keep them relaxed and get you back to the party as soon as possible.

Couple PIctures
For the couple pictures I normally take you away for about 20 minutes. I keep this time as relaxed as possible. Joanne and Brian went for a short walk around the venue where we were able to capture some really stunning portraits between them both. Both the bride and groom were fantastic, so much natural laughter from them, which made my job so easy.

Speeches
Speeches are such a special time, so many emotions fill the room, crying, laughter and everything in between. After the speeches, Brian and Joanne had their fantastic wedding breakfast. During this time I take a break and also prepare the same-day slide show for after the wedding breakfast has finished. This means when the wedding guests exit the breakfast they will be able to see a sneak peek of Joanne and Brian’s wedding pictures and remember the wedding day.

Evening Celebrations
The evening celebrations at Bagden Hall were second to none. We started the evening with some sparklers, a fantastic experience to share with all the guests and get everyone involved. The evening then continued with the traditional cake cutting, first dance and evening party. Joane and Brian had a fantastic wedding day calibration at Bagden Hall Hotel. It was an absolute pleasure to be their wedding photographer.
