Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel has a number of different rooms available for your wedding day from intimate spaces to more flexible rooms, it’s even possible to have your ceremony outside. Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel has some amazing grounds are gardens which we can explore to get some amazing wedding photography pictures from your big day. Parts of Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel are over 400 years old and is situated in West Yorkshire with close links to the A1 and Pontefract. Rogerthorpe Manor also has an onside hotel making it perfect for any guests wanting to stay the night.
The first known owner for the Rogerthorpe Estate was Samuel Saltonstal who in 1610 started the build the house which later became known as Rogerthorpe Manor. It stayed with the Saltonstal family for nearly a century until 1709 when Susan Saltonstal married into the Sunderland Family. Throughout the 20th century, the manor saw many new owners until 1955 with Rogerthorpe Manor was purchased by Stanley Tinsdale who turned it into an exclusive members-only club. Throughout the 80’s and 90’s Rogerthorpe Manor had many owners. Until 1992 with Parkside Inne and Leisure acquire Rogerthorpe Manor. The company took on many renovations. By 2000 Rogerthorpe Manor became Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel with 24 bedrooms. In 2004 Rogerthorpe Manor Hotel became privately owned by the Metcalfe Family.
