You may have found this page if you are looking for a Stoke Rochford Hall Wedding Photography.  My name is Dave from Dave Waller Photography and I have had the privilege to be a wedding photographer at the stunning Stoke Rochford Hall.

Finding new and lovely wedding venues is one of the most exciting aspects of my job as a wedding photographer.

At Stoke Rochford Hall in Lincolnshire, where I recently had the pleasure of photographing a wedding, I must admit that I was completely in awe of the setting.  Stoke Rochford Hall, a spectacular Victorian estate located in 28 acres of parkland, is just outside of Grantham. The venue is ideal for a traditional and romantic wedding thanks to its beautiful architecture, rich history reaching back to the 19th century, and attractive surrounds.  The spectacular road up to Stoke Rochford Hall was the first thing that caught my attention about it. The grandness of the structure itself is suggested by the long, tree-lined driveway. With a turreted tower and wide, elaborate windows that let in lots of natural light, the hall has an impressive façade.

The hall is equally stunning inside. The majestic ballroom, with its chandeliers and elaborate plasterwork, provides a stunning background for the wedding ceremony and reception, and the grand staircase is the ideal spot for some dramatic wedding photos.  One of the things I loved about Stoke Rochford Hall was the attention to detail. The hall has been beautifully restored, with original features carefully preserved, and the décor is classic and elegant. The gardens are also meticulously maintained, with manicured lawns, pretty flower beds, and a lovely lake that makes for some wonderful wedding photos.

As a wedding photographer, I’m always on the lookout for locations that provide lots of chances for amazing pictures, and Stoke Rochford Hall definitely delivers on that front. There are several spots to pick from, both inside and outside, whether it’s a romantic stroll through the gardens or a dramatic image on the great staircase.

Planning Your Stoke Rochford Hall Wedding

Stoke Rochford Hall is a grand mansion near Grantham in Lincolnshire, with ornate rooms inside and manicured, landscaped gardens all around it, which make a beautiful backdrop for your pictures.

The hall offers all-inclusive packages or a bespoke package built around you, with a wide choice of menus. A dedicated wedding team coordinates the day and is on hand throughout, which takes a lot of pressure off you and your families, and it helps me too, because we can share the running order and keep everything flowing.

For the night, there are mansion bedrooms for the two of you and en-suite rooms for your guests, so everyone can stay and enjoy the evening. You can also arrange little touches to be waiting in your room, like chilled champagne, flowers or chocolates.

From the photography side, the gardens are the thing to plan around. The best light for portraits comes in the hour or two before sunset, so if your timings allow, leave a little gap in the evening for a short walk out. I keep portraits to around twenty minutes, so you’re not away from your guests for long. Inside, the ornate rooms give a lovely sense of grandeur to the speeches and the first dance.

If you’re going to look round, the venue offers a complimentary cream tea for two with your viewing, so it’s a nice way to spend an afternoon. Bring a list of questions about timings, and let them know you’d like to see where the drinks reception and portraits usually happen.

If you’re thinking about getting married at Stoke Rochford Hall, get in touch and I’ll help you plan the day around the light.
