A professional wedding photographer has backups of there backups. For example, I always have 2 cameras on me if one was to fail at that critical point I can easily switch to the second one, I then have an extra back up in the car. All of my professional cameras same images on two card slots creating an instant back up, then when you and your wedding guest sit down to eat I back up all the images on to a laptop creating an additional back up. What if I am ill on your wedding day or something more serious, again I have a back up for this. What I am trying to say is by hiring a professional photographer it means you images are safe and secure should anything happen.

Your wedding day pictures will be one of the only tangible things remaining after your big day. This means they are incredibly important. Your pictures are a chance to relive your big day over and over again. My Wedding Photography Style

Your Wedding day is a mix of different events throughout the day each of them different, for me as a wedding photographer they need different styles of photography. For most of the day, I would refer to my style as documentary, completely unobtrusive capturing your day as it unfolds capturing what happens, how it happens. When I receive reviews that say for some of the day we did not even know Dave was there, this is such a positive thing. When you can blend into the wedding day and just let the magic unfold in front of you, that’s when you really document the day.

There also comes a time when I offer a little more direction. For example the formal wedding group pictures or the couple pictures. When it comes to the formal group images, I like to be super organised but also relaxed, I want to capture amazing formal images of your chosen groups but not have everyone standing around for longer than is needed. When it comes to pictures of the couple, I normally ask for about 20 – 30 minutes, I don’t want to keep you from the wedding for longer than is needed. I keep things relaxed but again here a little more direction is needed, I like to say I position and don’t pose I still want to see your personality.
